You’ve been called, you’ve been gifted – no go write!

So you’ve been called to create. You’ve been gifted to create. Those are the only reasons you need to give yourself permission to go and create in Christ. And the reason why I have kind of homed in on this encouragement, this exhortation, this granting of permission, if you will, to you, is because I know, for myself, as a creative Christian, and as a Christian writer, I needed to give myself this level of permission to go and create, especially to create and write stories.

How have you been gifted by the Holy Spirit? And how does it look for you to take your place in the body of Christ in this creative, writerly sort of way? Maybe it’s telling stories. Maybe it’s writing devotionals, or studies, or academic resources that will encourage pastors, or students, or more boots on the ground resources to encourage parents, teenagers, people struggling with mental health issues, or losing weight, or whatever else that you have been gifted. In order to give God glory, to promote human flourishing, and to ignite faith in your world.
